babe number three

 

baby johnston number three is on the way!

 

as most of you know my husband deployed to Afghanistan, November of last year. about three weeks before he left we found out we were expecting another baby. I felt such a mixture of emotions but I knew it was God's plan for our lives. whether we were ready for it or not- we knew to be thankful. we are now over half way to our due date and couldn't be more excited! with this new addition comes many changes to my business, first thing being the name. I've decided to keep the source and reason behind everything I do, my children and so my name will continue to reflect them. they are the craziness behind it all, behind me. they are my three peas, my sweet loves, my purpose in life.

 

 

I hope you are as excited as I am for the new things to come in our lives and the life of "three peas" :)

Miss O

This little love is Olivia. One of the sweetest little ladies around! I had so much fun with her and her Mama, playing and catching up. It was a great day and Olivia was the best in front of the lens! She's got what it takes hehe! I'm so very happy with the way these photos turned out and I hope you love them as well :)

When the things of this world get the best of me I revert back to what matters. Regardless of what you do or where you go in life there will always be those who will do anything and everything to try and bring you down or discourage you. Don't give them the satisfaction. Instead, look around at all God has given you and know it was given to YOU for a reason.  

He's the sweetest lump of sugar there ever was :)

Meet Josh & Julia Stultz...

The "oh so fabulous" Voter Family

This family was such a joy. I photographed Tricia, Brett and Ethan a little while back and was asked to get together with them again and do some pictures of the entire family. I knew if they were anything like Tricia & Brett it would be a blast, and of course it was. We froze, dodged a little bit of traffic, including a parked car (thanks for lookin' out Brett!) danced to silly children's music and laughed like crazy. They were such a fun group of people. I don't know who enjoyed it more, them or me! I have been so fortunate to work with such good people.

I hope to be their photographer again in the future.

A perfect day :)

Today, for the first time, Lily sat still and let me paint her nails! She is so in love with them. Constantly staring at her fingers, putting them in Troy's face to show him. I love it! I am the happiest Mama in the world. The little things really do matter most :)
